Mexi Lake Urban Design

The idea behind this massive mixed-use master planning project, was to create a new town center for the city of Changsha, China. The buildings represented as individual shining stars, a splendid cluster, a whole system linked by galaxy pedestrian bridge, hence the concept of Constellation of Stars.

As a major new Central Business District, the projects center point is a landscaped park. Within this park is a heavily traveled metro station connection which transfers people throughout the city. Also located at this junction, is a network of sky-bridge pedestrian links that stich the 9 towers together by foot. Creating a regional urban destination for the city of Changsha.
